LIVE 07 was performed on the 24th of November in the O2 Arena, London. The show was the final celebration of the Scouting centenary and what a final celebration! With a capacity of 15,000 people for each of the two performances, this epic show gave over 1500 members of Scouting the opportunity to show the Nation what Scouting means to them, and to celebrate some of the many events that have taken place over this centenary year.
The performances included items from each section of Scouting as well as several Scout and Guide Shows, Brownsea Island and the World Jamboree Cast. The music and singing was provided by the Live07 choir and band which encorporated the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra.
From the minute you arrived at the O2 arena you were welcomed by many different Scouting actvities. The Stiff and Stilted team welcomed you on 4ft pole stilts, there were trampolines to bounce on and miniture golf to play. Before you even entered the arena you were surrounded by uniforms and people in scarves. Everyone was there to celebrate our centenary!!
