Southend Scout and Guide Gang Show won 1st place in class at Southend Carnival 2016 with their mechanical theme procession. 

Taking on a mechanical twist this year Southend Scout and Guide Gang Show were once again in attendance at Southend Carnival. Cast and adult volunteers from the gang took part and were rewarded with 1^st place in Class by the judges, a fantastic achievement for all those involved.

With over 20 members of the cast and adult volunteers were involved helping to raise the profile of the Gang Show whilst also raising vital funds. Over £100 was raised so a big thank you to everyone who donated, and congratulations and thanks must also go to all of the Gang who were involved.

James Jackson, Marketing Manager at Southend Gang Show said, 'Thanks to all of the cast and adult volunteers who gave up their time to participate in the carnival. It was great to be a part of such a fantastic event in the local community, the gang did Scouting and Guiding in Southend proud!'
